Enjoy!

These would be Meg's best impressions of their dogs, Lucy and Emma, who stayed home for the shoot.

The last frame of the day, and what a way to wrap up a fun shoot. (My sentiments exactly!)

Vascular Care) and our friends at MSA to create a series of nationally-run advertisements. One of the best parts of this project has been meeting and getting to know the patients that have been selected to be photographed. Both Brian and Mari are such interesting and passionate individuals, and it was a real honor to work with them.

First up, a couple of images from the "rejects" pile that I like, nonetheless. :)

And, here are the ads as they are currently running...

Many thanks to everyone involved in this project. I'm so excited for the remaining shoots!

Headshots: Shannon and Megan http://www.tamaralackeyblog.com/index.cfm?postID=459 http://www.tamaralackeyblog.com/index.cfm?postID=459 Fri, 22 Jan 2010 12:40:00 GMT
Shannon is a gifted professional opera singer, and she came to me back in the Fall for some headshot and website images. We had a fantastic time discussing our ideas for the shoot and pulling inspiring photos from books and magazines. We were really able to play and get some fun, interesting looks for her. Just recently, Shannon came back for another session, this time bringing along her colleague, Megan, a violinist. They will be performing together in just a few weeks and we focused on producing some images for marketing their performance. I think these women are so beautiful and can't wait to see their concert in person.

First, a few images from Shannon's first session:

And, a few shots from our most recent session with the lovely and talented Shannon and Megan:

Below are a handful of images from Camille's bridal session. She is an absolute beauty inside and out. It also doesn't hurt that she has the 50's pinup thing going on. Big time.

Congratulations, Camille and Anthony--I'm so happy for you both!

jackson's back! (and he's six-months-old this time) http://www.tamaralackeyblog.com/index.cfm?postID=431 http://www.tamaralackeyblog.com/index.cfm?postID=431 Tue, 22 Sep 2009 08:28:00 GMT
This child is especially close to my heart as he is the son of my best friend and her husband (also a dear friend). And, cliche as it must sound, these last eight months have brought me an entirely new appreciation for just how quickly and stealthily children continue to grow and what a gift it is to be able to capture all the beautiful little facets of their personalities at various stages along the way.

Phyllis + Kikko (A Bridal Shoot) http://www.tamaralackeyblog.com/index.cfm?postID=428 http://www.tamaralackeyblog.com/index.cfm?postID=428 Fri, 18 Sep 2009 14:18:00 GMT A bridal shoot with a snuggly, (only slightly) slobbery dog tagging along. Of course. ;)

Beautiful Phyllis definitely holds her own in these photos, but I do think Kikko adds a little something extra...

You can see the exhibit in several ways. My understanding is that the pieces will remain in the hospital for a few weeks, and will then travel around the state. Additionally, you can view the images and stories for each person on the
website.

Below are a few of the *faces* I had the joy of photographing...

A few images from the interior of the new hospital. In addition to boasting all kinds of new technological capabilities, the building itself is just beautiful. It's clear that a lot of thought was put into constructing a place that feels very welcoming and healing.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony from yesterday afternoon.

And a look at some of our pieces, beautifully printed by the incredible team at Simply Canvas.

This was my first time photographing a Baha'i ceremony, and I was touched by the participation by so many of their friends and family. So many lovely readings and well wishes for Ashley and Babak...

Babak's brother, who is so clearly thrilled with his new role as Dad. :)

We were searching for Ashley and Babak and the dads for formals after the ceremony, and I stuck my head out of the church door just in time to see this sweet moment.

Congratulations, Ashley and Babak! More to come very soon...
