A (Stylish) Webinar with Kubota Image Tools

August 28, 2010 by Tamara

I had the great pleasure of teaming up with Kevin Kubota, fearless leader of the globally beloved Kubota Image Tools to create the first of the Kubota Artist Series' post-processing walkthroughs, The Tamara Lackey Style Book.

More details about this book coming very soon, but for now ... we're kicking off its launch by offering a free webinar this Tuesday, August 31st at 10am PST / 1pm EST, showcasing some post-processing yumminess.

Sounds like a good number of photographers have already signed up via twitter and & facebook.

one happy bride

August 26, 2010 by Jessi

One of the many things that I love about photographing weddings is happy brides:) Brides that just can't stop smiling and beaming with joy! Meet Laura, one happy bride! I was lucky to photograph her small, intimate ceremony on the Chesapeake Bay last weekend. It was lovely, simply lovely:)

Presenting at PDN's Photo Plus 2010

August 23, 2010 by Tamara

I am looking forward to speaking at PDN's PhotoPlus 2010, an International Conference & Expo at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, this October 28-30th!

A big thank you to AsukaBook and Simply Canvas & Color Lab for sponsoring my talk on Friday, October 29th, running from 1:15pm - 3:15pm.

If you're planning to head up to NYC for this major event, I hope you can make it to my seminar.... or stop by and say hi on the trade show floor - I'll also be giving a presentation or two at the Kubota Image Tools booth on Thursday!

S & B

August 18, 2010 by Jessi

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the incredibly fun and fabulous wedding of Sasha and Barry! This couple is so sweet and loving to each other, it is such a joy to be around them. I had been looking forward to their wedding for what felt like forever. Their reception took place at the incredible Bay 7 that was every bit as cool as I was expecting it to be! Below are two images from the day that I just love:)
